Cliffdale Christian Center was birthed out of a small group meeting in the living room of our founding elder, Noble Stanley. Within a few years the group found themselves in need of a dedicated pastor and God answered that prayer. The Goodmans had been serving as missionaries in Haiti where God had used them to deeply impact the nation. They responded to the call for help and relocated their family to Fayetteville.
At that time, the church was meeting in a store-front building where under the leadership of Pastor Emory Goodman they grew to a thriving body of believers in need of a larger meeting area. The congregation built the “log cabin” building, finally dedicating it to the Lord on August 12, 1990.
